Peter, with more than forty years in the freight forwarding
and logistics industries here and overseas, leads an experienced, extremely able
team. His thorough, hands-on approach ensures that ICE offers unrivalled levels
of personalised service with all staff members, being directly accessible to clients
at all times.
A German-educated, qualified freight forwarder (Commercial Diploma), Peter's
extensive experience includes senior management roles in Germany, the United Kingdom,
New Zealand and Australia.
Before forming ICE in 1988, he was chief executive of a large, UK-based multinational
freight forwarder in Australia for over 10 years. He is a shareholder of the company.
An active Rotarian with a deep interest in the welfare of the community, Peter
is also closely involved in a wide variety of charity work. A keen golfer, he
continues, as he says, 'to work on his game.'

Ronald Spahr
Director, National Sales

Ronald is a highly experienced freight forwarder. Born in Hamburg,
he was originally German trained (with the German Freight Forwarding Diploma among
others) and came to Australia in 1979 as a sales representative for a major freight
forwarder.
Ronald has worked in the industry for over three decades, in both Germany and
Australia; he still speaks his native language fluently. He is a firm believer
in self-reliance and the principle of giving everyone a fair go.
Key areas of expertise include marketing sales and customer service. Previously
sales manager of a large international freight forwarder in Australia for five
years, Ronald joined ICE in early 1989 and is a shareholder.
Married for over 25 years, Ronald has two daughters. His family is actively
involved in the Sutherland Shire music scene. He is a keen supporter of the local
soccer club and has been involved in scuba diving for over twenty years. He is
an avid reader of anything historical, documentary and philosophical.

Michael Vigliante
Director

Michael joined the ICE Group's Sydney office in February 1990,
having previously spent five years as branch accountant for a large international
freight forwarder.
He oversaw the amalgamation of the Australian ICE Group companies into a single
cohesive trading unit, helping it become more effective in an increasingly competitive
marketplace.
Appointed a director in 2004, Michael, as the company's CFO, is responsible
for the ICE Group's statutory, financial and accounting matters.

George Kyriakides
Branch Manager, ICE Sydney

George started his career in the freight forwarding business
in 1983, working with several industry leaders, including ICE until 1996. He joined
a specialised freight forwarder as a partner but rejoined us in March 2001 as
Branch Manager in Sydney.
He continues to contribute his substantial depth of operational
and management experience to the ICE Group. He has been a shareholder in the company
since 2006.

John Mangiafico
Branch Manager, ICE Melbourne

Before joining ICE in January 1990 to set up our Melbourne office,
John held management positions with two major Australian freight forwarders in
Victoria.
He has an in-depth understanding of the industry's special demands and continues
to contribute greatly to the success of our Victorian operation.
John holds several management and industry-related diplomas and is a shareholder
in the company.
Married, with two sons (one at uni and one at high school) John is a keen AFL
football fan and a strong supporter of the mighty Hawthorn Football Club. He also
likes to watch the occasional action movie.

Shawn Pekala
Branch Manager, ICE Brisbane

Shawn has many years of experience in senior management roles
with a leading international freight forwarder in Melbourne.
He joined ICE in 2005 to head our Queensland operations, bringing extra depth
to our company. Shawn is experienced in all aspects of international freight forwarding
and is a project management specialist with particular expertise in the oil and
gas industry.
He is a keen sportsman, his main interests including water skiing, cricket
and tennis. In his quieter moments he enjoys photography.
Ian McDonald
Branch Manager, ICE Fremantle

Ian joined ICE in 1997, was appointed Branch Manager in 2001
and is a shareholder. He was instrumental in establishing a customs clearance
department for us in Western Australia to complement our freight forwarding services.
As a licensed customs broker for over 25 years, Ian has held management positions
with large multinationals in Western Australia.
He holds numerous industry-related accreditations, including an advanced Diploma
of Australian and International Trade Facilitation. He is also a Senior Associate
of the CBFCA.
He is a keen competition swimmer (AUSSI Masters) and was in surf lifesaving
in which his teenage sons are now involved. He watches them compete and also enjoys
surf skiing, paddling events including the annual Avon Descent with its Grade
2-4 rapids. Any reading he gets time for tends to be biographies. TV preferences
include reality programs and he enjoys movies as well.
