Ocean Network Express (ONE Line) is here

Industry Update: Mitsui (MOL), K Line and NYK complete their merger. From 1st April 2018 all individual services with these shipping lines have stopped. From this merger a new shipping line has formed to combine all 3 services. The new shipping line is Ocean Network Express (ONE Line).

This merger highlights the pressures of the consolidating freight industry. ONE Line is now the 6th largest global carrier operating a combined 1.48 million TEU on over 200 ships. Following the collapse of Hanjin Shipping in 2016, ONE Line is strategically cutting costs by avoiding duplicate sailings and offering a consolidated operation.
